Tech Engine

Currently Available Positions

Experienced Engine Machinist

Ideal candidate would possess the following skills and experience:

  • At least five years experience in the automotive engine machining field.
  • Proficient in all automotive machining operations, including cylinder boring and honing, line boring and honing, crankshaft grinding, seat and guide work.
  • Proficiency with manual machining operations including milling, turning, and grinding.
  • Proficiency with basic inspection and measurement processes.
  • Proficiency with common testing procedures, i.e. pressure testing and magnafluxing.
  • Proficiency with balancing of engine components.
  • Cleanliness and extreme attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Additional beneficial skills include:

  • Experience with Rottler SGF8, SGF9MTS, HP7A, Tobin Arp…
  • Experience with diesel engines.

Job responsibilities/requirements will include:

  • Disassembly and evaluation of the engine.
  • Execution of all related rebuilding processes from cleaning, machine work, subcomponent work, through to final engine assembly.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds.
  • Strong work ethic including punctuality and dependability.

Our small shop is located in historic Carlisle, PA. We offer a well equipped, team oriented workplace with a friendly, low stress atmosphere, with a stable, busy work load, and an established clientele. Over our 42 years in business, we have built a reputation for uncompromising work on a large variety of engines, both gas and diesel, street, racing, industrial, agricultural, import and domestic, classic and antique.

Engine & Component Disassembler

Job responsibilities/requirements will include:

  • Disassembly and evaluation of the engine an related parts.
  • Perform cleaning procedures to the part.
  • Inspection of the parts.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds.
  • Strong work ethic including punctuality and dependability.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
